For a complete list of activities at the Refuge call 207-733-2233.Birding opportunities abound on the Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge, Roosevelt Campobello International Park, Shackford Head and Quoddy Head State Parks, and in other bird-rich areas. See boreal species, two dozen warblers, and Atlantic Puffins up close and (almost) touchable. The Cobscook Bay is a focus of the North American Waterfowl Habitat Management Program. Pull on your legwarmers, tease up your hair, slide on those acid washed jeans–we’re having a totally awesome 80s Dance Party! The International Homecoming Festival Committee is hosting this event as a fundraiser for its 2015 event. 80s attire is NOT required but is totally encouraged. Saturday, May 23, 2015, 8:00 pm US time… Totally rad music by DJ Tim Kelly. Admission is by donation at the door. Ages 21 and older; proper ID required. Thanks to John Marchese and the Calais Motor Inn for allowing this totally awesome event to be held!
