This  self guided auto tour begins at the intersection of Charlotte Road and Howard Lake Road.  An information booklet can be picked up at the entrance to the tour, or at the Moosehorn headquarters. This route opens at sunrise and closes at sunset.  It is a one-way gravel road with pull outs. Visitors are asked to stay on the designated roads, only stopping to photograph or enjoy the scenery. This road is shared with pedestrians and wildlife,  speed is limited to 20 mph.         Caution is urged when exiting the on to route 1.
