Monday, August 10th, 2009We are looking for pictures, or you have video on you tube send us the link so that we can build out the events to show off the great experience Calais had to offer.
Also if there are other events coming up please let us know so that we can get them added, we will be continuing with the website to deliver more information for tourists and local residents. Such as things to do and more so if you know of something that people would like to know about please contact us so we can get the information online.

Where, What, When?
Monday, July 27th, 2009We are looking to add some new sections to the website to answer some of these questions for people visiting the Calais Area, and the more information people in the community send us the better.
When? – We Feel we are doing and have gotten alot of great feed back that the website is delivering information on events and things going on, keep sending us the information and we will keep on posting it.
Where? – Now we want to address where to stay, where to eat for both local people and visitors alike. So if we can have people submit information to answer these questions we will be able to deliver it. We have already added a Where to Stay section but we know there is more and we need people to help us gather information.
What? What things are there to do, such as hiking/walking paths, parks, playgrounds, swimming, 4 wheeling and more.We are in the process of gatherin this information to add a things to do section so if you know of something that is alot of fun send it through so that we can add this as well.
It’s great to hear feedback and to get more information online and readily available for everyone to access easily.

Photo Gallery’s
Sunday, June 28th, 2009We will now only be using Picasa Web Gallery’s to display photo’s on the website so that we can use the embed sideshow option. Calais Events will be collaborating with EliteGD for the general gallery that can now be seen on the Photo’s page. If you would like a picture displayed but don’t have a picasa account (they are free) you can send it to us and we will add it and give photo credit if required in the photo description.

Calais Events adds News
Thursday, April 30th, 2009We wanted to keep everyone informed of the updates and changes that will be coming to Calais Events.com over the next little while. To be more interactive for the community we have now added a news section that can be found in the secondary navigation. This won’t be traditional news but Service Announcements from Calais Events.com and news submitted by the people of Calais.
We would like to start posting things like wedding announcements, special occasion’s, new store opening or even an upcoming sale etc. which will be found under the news section of the website. We have also had quite a few requests for a Business Directory and we will be looking into options for that as well.
Just use the contact form found on http://calaisevents.com/contact/ to send in your news or comments/feedback.
